Beverly Hills Post Office

Beverly Hills Post Office is a name given by locals to a section of Los Angeles.

WELCOME TO BEVERLY HILLS POST OFFICE

Beverly Hills Post Office is a name given by locals to a section of Los Angeles that is located north of Sunset Boulevard and west of official Beverly Hills “proper” neighborhoods. The quiet canyon homes came in to the spotlight in 1963 when ZIP Codes were established nationwide and the area became associated with Beverly Hills. Home buyers seeking extra space for large-scale homes, hilltop views and greater privacy than afforded by city living fanned out to BHPO.

Beverly Hills Post Office has a 90210 zip code like many of the other residential neighborhoods of the city, but it is actually part of Los Angeles. BHPO does not share Beverly Hills’s Fire or Police Department and public education is provided by the Los Angeles Unified School District as opposed to the Beverly Hills Unified School District, which serves students within Beverly Hills city limits.

Many of the city’s most luxurious gated communities like The Summit, Mulholland Estates, Beverly Ridge Estates and Beverly Park are situated in Beverly Hills Post Office. With its convenient access to the Westside of L.A, Beverly Hills, Hollywood or the Valley, this area is popular with families and entertainment industry professionals. Homes values can range from around $700,000 for “starter homes” up to 30 million dollar estates that enjoy dramatic canyon and city vistas.
